Employee Fractures Leg When Run over by Forklift

On August 20, 2011, an employee received a serious injury as he was applying covering around the bottom of a loaded pallet in the cold storage area of the company's warehouse. The employee was kneeling on the floor attaching the cover. A coworker operating a forklift working behind him was backing away after depositing his load and drove over the employee's leg. The emergency services were called, and the employee was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was hospitalized and treated for fractured leg.
