Employee Is Injured in Fall from Roof

At approximately 7:05 a.m. on July, 22 2011, an employee of New Koosharem Corporation dba Select Staffing was performing out of his normal duties as a laborer at Sun Maid Growers. The employee was removing corrugated metal panels from a roof, when he stepped onto a sub-roofing material that could not support his weight. The employee fell approxi-mately 17 feet onto a concrete floor. The employee was transported to the Community Hospital where he was treated for a pelvic injury, and later transferred to a Community Regional Medical Center for his recovery.
