Employee Is Run over by Water Truck and Injured.

At approximately 4:15 a.m. on May 26, 2011, an employee was walking behind a water truck and had ended a call on his cell phone. The driver of the water truck had completed rolling up hoses then returned to the cab of the truck and started backing up to make a delivery of water to another location. The driver then saw the water bottle that the employee had been carrying earlier as it flew out on the left side landing on the road. The driver then stopped and went to the right rear of the truck and saw the employee lying on the ground. The employee was struck and run over by the right rear tire of the water truck. The employee was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA. and admitted for serious injuries to his right shoulder, chest and leg.
