Two Employees Are Injured When Forklift Hits Pallet Cans

At approximately 5:35 a.m. on September 13, 2012, Employee #1 was driving a forklift on his way to the office to report a fall from a fixed ladder. While on his way, the employee suffered a syncopal episode, which he relates to the previous fall. While Employee #1 was unconscious, he runs into empty cans and lids at the same time striking Employee #2 that was cutting the plastic off an empty can pallet. Employee #2 was in the path of the forklift and the cans and lids fell on top of Employee #2. Employees' #1 and #2 remains hospitalized.
