Employee Partially Amputates Finger in Machine's Rollers

At approximately 6:40 a.m. on September 12, 2011, Employee #1 was splicing together plastic shrink wrap on Line Number 4 Caser. As she worked, her right glove was caught on the rollers. The rollers pulled her hand into the machine, resulting in the partial amputation of the right ring finger. Employee #1 was transported to medical center, where she underwent treatment and was then released from the hospital.
