Employee Experiences Muscle Cramp from Heat Exhaustion

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on August 11, 2011, Employee #1, a farm worker, began to experience muscle cramping. He did not notify his supervisor until 1:20 p.m., when the cramping became severe. The supervisor called 911 and an ambulance responded. Employee #1 was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for dehydration and released the same day.
