Employee's Leg Is Fractured When Struck by Trailer

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on April 27, 2011, Employee #1 was unrolling a hose to water newly planted walnut trees. The hose was attached to a ball tank on a trailer pulled by a tractor. Employee #1 felt something hit his right calf. Employee #1 turned around, and the left rear tire of the trailer caught the tip of his right, steel-toed boot. Apparently, Employee #1's leg was fractured, and he was hospitalized.
