Two Employees Suffer Fractures in Fall from Roof

On August 11, 2010, Employee #1 and Employee #2, of Dba Hidden Valley Dairy, were positioned up on a 2:12 pitch roof of a cow barn. They were removing the corrugated tin roofing material. A wood joist they were standing on broke, causing them to fall through the roof, approximately 12 ft to the concrete ground. Both employees were hospitalized. Employee #1 was treated for a back fracture, and Employee #2 was treated for multiple fractures to his arms.
