Employee Loses Part of Finger in Moulder Machine

Employee #1 was doing a setup on the Weinig Moulder Machine. Employee #1 was jogging a practice piece through the machine, followed by a push stick. The push stick fell off the feed rollers, and Employee #1 pushed the emergency stop button. Employee #1 reached in and tried to grab the stick. The right vertical cutterhead was still rotating and came in contact with his right hand middle finger. An amputation occurred to the first knuckle.
