Employee Receives Back Injury While Installing Holder

At approximately 2:20 p.m. on December 30, 2013, Employee #1, a maintenance employee, was working at a hotel. He was installing a soap holder inside the bathtub. As he bent over to pick up a screw anchor that had dropped, his back locked up and was injured. He had a prior back injury. Employee #1 was transported to a medical center, where he underwent treatment and was then hospitalized.
