Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:30 a.m. on November 18, 2011, Employee#1 was seriously injured while cutting a piece of 2 by 4 with a saw, when it either bound or hit a knot and jumped up. As he tried to control it, he pulled back and overcompensated by pulling it across his knee. The blade was still in the wood and he cut his knee to the bone. This required surgery and one day hospitalization.
