Employee Is Injured in Fall from Roof

At 8:35 a.m. on May 18, 2011, Employee #1, an energy technician with Southern California Gas Company, fell from the roof of a two-story residential building. He was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai for an unspecified fracture. Employee #1 failed to follow a company policy that prohibits the use of extension ladders to access the second story of buildings.
