Investigation Summary
On August 10, 2010, Employee #1, of Brawner Builders Incorporated, was operating a truck mounted basket using the truck mounted controls. He had parked and was in the rear of the truck, using the controls to lower the basket to the ground level and to allow the bridge inspector to enter the basket. As the unoccupied basket was raised from the truck, it struck a 33 kV overhead power line. As a result, Employee #1, received burns to both of his feet.
