Employee Falls Off Ladder and Sustains Fractures

At about 10:00 a.m. on January 24, 2011, Employee #1 was on a fiberglass ladder approximately 4 feet above the ground. He was checking the work to be done in the roof. The ladder moved to the left, and Employee #1 slipped and fell off to the concrete pavement below. This resulted in a right knee and ankle fracture. Emergency personnel responded to the accident and transported the injured employee to Kaiser Hospital in San Jose, CA.
