Employee Amputates Finger While Using Table Saw

At approximately 12:13 p.m. on January 11, 2011, Employee #1, of Clark's Hardwood Floors, Inc., was cutting a piece of hardwood flooring material using a table saw. The work piece he was cutting kicked back and pushed his hands towards the rotating table saw blade. His finger was amputated. Emergency personnel responded to the accident and transported Employee #1 to Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA, where he was hospitalized for his injuries.
