Employee Catches Finger in Pinch Point

Employee #1 was pulling trays from the discharge side of a tray washer. As he bent at the waist to place a tray into the bottom of a round tote, his fourth finger slid forward into an unguarded pinch point. This amputated the finger from the base of fingernail to tip.
