Employee Injured in Tree Trimming Accident

On December 11, 2010 Employee #1 was elevated in a bucket of a front end loader with a chain saw, to cut a damaged branch from a tree. The bucket did not have guardrails and Employee #1 was not wearing any protective gear. Employee #1 was elevated eight to nine feet, when he cut a branch from the tree. As the branch fell, it struck Employee #1 and fractured his right leg. Employee #1 was admitted to a hospital, where he underwent surgery the following day and remained hospitalized for the next three days.
