Employee Fractures Head in Fall from Ladder

On July 13, 2010, an employee was working on an extension ladder removing vents from the wall of the gymnasium at approximately 15-ft in height. As the employee was working on the ladder, the ladder footing began to slip on the floor of the gymnasium. The employee fell from the ladder and struck his head on the bleachers that were below. After striking the bleachers, the employee would fall to the ground below. The employee was hospitalized and treated for a fractured head.
