Employee Dies Falling Off Trailer

Employee #1 was loading turkey blood from a pipe and hose assembly while standing on the top of the front section of his transfer trailer. During the end of the loading procedure he told his coworker to shut off the valve. At this time Employee #1, while standing on top of the tank wihtout fall protection, fell ten feet backwards onto the concrete floor below. Emergency services was summoned and Employee #1 was taken to the hospital, where he died the next day.
