Investigation Summary
At approximately 9:30 a.m. on October 13, 2010, Employee #1, a paraprofessional with the school system, was walking from one location to another when she tripped and fell, breaking her hip. There were no irregular reliefs in elevation that contributed to the fall. The relief on the walkway measured a maximum of 0.25 inch. Employee #1 was transported to Kaiser Walnut Creek, where she was hospitalized for treatment.
