Event: 07/27/2010
Carpenter Falls from Work Platform Without Injury

At approximately 6:20 a.m. on July 27, 2010, Employee #1 was working as a carpenter for TWE Enterprises, a residential building contractor, in San Ramon, CA. He was installing a vent below the apex of a residential home that was under construction. He was in a wooden basket that had been built on the job. It was attached to a rough terrain forklift that was lifting Employee #1 into position. When he reached a height of approximately six feet, the box tilted, causing Employee #1 to fall to the ground. He was transported to San Ramon Medical Center in San Ramon, and he was treated and released on the same day. Any injuries that occurred were neither serious nor recordable.
