Employee Is Injured in Fall from Tractor Trailer, Later Dies

On approximately March 10, 2011, Employee #1 was working from a 5-foot, 6-inch-tall tractor trailer to secure tie-downs/restraints (come-alongs, bungee cables, etc.). Employee #1 fell from the trailer to the ground. A coworker, who was on the ground assisting Employee #1, witnessed Employee #1 trip, fall, and hit his head on the ground. Employee #1 died at Parkland Medical Center in Dallas around March 13, 2011.
