Employee suffers electric shock while tree trimming

At approximately 12:20 pm on June 4, 2010, Employee #1 was trimming a tree. Employee #1 was positioning a ladder (aluminum 30 ft extension ladder) and contacted an overhead power line. Employee #1 suffered a small burn injury on his left foot, when the current exited his body. Employee #1 was taken to the hospital for treatment and was released. Factors that may have contributed to the accident were: Lack of training on working in proximity to overhead power lines and using an aluminum ladder around overhead power lines.
