Investigation Summary
An employee was eating lunch outside a facility. Coworkers had an open drink that a bee had flown into, and for some reason, the employee consumed that drink, swallowing the bee. He was not aware that he had swallowed the bee. He felt sick after lunch and went home. He continued to feel sick at home, so he was taken by his daughter to a hospital, where he died. Doctors found a bee inside his throat.
