Investigation Summary
On September 24, 2009, an employee was cleaning up debris on the roof of a seed farm warehouse when he stepped backward, lost his balance and fell through a gap in the roof. He landed 35-ft below on the cement floor of the warehouse. The employee was transported to a hospital in Edenton North Carolina where he was pronounced dead.
