Employee Is Struck by Vehicle, Later Dies

At approximately 6:45 p.m. on November 18, 2009, Employee #1, of Pro Media Courier Services, was standing near his company's vehicle while it was being parallel parked. Employee #1 was struck by the vehicle. Employee #1 fell onto the sidewalk as a result. Employee #2 (the driver) immediately stopped when he saw Employee #1 in the rearview mirror fall. Employee #3 was in the parking lot and also witnessed the incident. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the nearest trauma facility, where he later died from multiple injuries, including significant head and chest trauma. Weather and visibility conditions were poor at the time of the incident.
