Employee's Thumb Is Amputated by Jump Saw

On September 10, 2009, Employee #1 was operating a jump saw. His left thumb came in contact with the saw blade, and the thumb was cut just above the last knuckle and the lower portion of the nail. He was hospitalized for the amputation of his thumb.
