Employee Gets Fingers Crushed When Cargo Container Fell

On August 3, 2012, Employee #1, a record keeper of Torres Container was assisting a truck driver with a cargo container when the accident occurred. Employee #1 was helping lock a container that was on a semi-chassis of a truck. For an unknown reason, the shipping container slipped and came down on Employee's #1 finger. Employee #1 suffered a partial amputation of his left middle finger and was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Carson where he was treated for his injuries.
