Employee Fractures Hip in Fall

At approximately 3:35 p.m. on September 2, 2011, Employee #1 was working at a facility that specialized in skilled nursing homecare. As Employee #1 was walking to put place dirty clothes in a basket, her right foot became caught in an alarm wire. Employee #1 fell, striking her right hip against the floor. Employee #1 was hospitalized, where she was treated for a fractured right hip that required surgery.
