Investigation Summary
On January 20, 2010, Employee #1 was working from a ladder to cut off a part of a roof that was broken and hanging. The roof had been damaged when a large tree fell on it. When the roof part was cut through, it did not fall straight down. It struck the ladder and knocked Employee #1 to the ground. He fell approximately 20 to 25 ft and suffered fractures that were not specified. He was hospitalized for treatment.
