Clean Room Worker Is Burned by Acid

At approximately 7:05 a.m. on October 8, 2009, Employee #1, of a semiconductor manufacturing facility Svtc Technologies, LLC, was preparing to rinse out two empty bottles of hydrofluoric acid. Employee #1 put on a protective apron, and then felt wetness from the apron soaking through his clean room suit. Employee #1 was taken to a clinic for treatment of a hydrofluoric acid burn to his upper right arm and was released the same day.
