Worker Sustains Injuries in Bathroom Fall

On July 19, 2012, an employee was working for an insurance company and travel agency in San Luis Obispo, CA. She was exiting a toilet stall in the bathroom to wash her hands, when she slipped and fell. She hit her head and also sustained injuries to her hip and leg. The injury was attributed to the employee's high heeled shoes, which gave her the potential for slipping. The incident was reported to the Bakersfield, CA, DOSH office the next day.
