Employee Is Injured When Struck by Forklift

On July 16, 2009, Employee #1 was exiting a portable toilet that faced a roadway, when he stepped into the path of an all-terrain Pettibone fork truck. He was struck by the right front tire, knocked to the ground, and suffered head trauma and other injuries. He was hospitalized and placed in a medically induced coma.
