Employee Is Killed When Crushed Against Trailer

Employee #1 was between two parked trailers at grocery store warehouse shipping yard and was raising the landing gear on his trailer. Another employee, a yard switcher working for another employer, got out of his switch engine and trailer to assist Employee #1. The yard switcher unit began to roll and struck the parked trailer, pinning Employee #1 between it and his trailer. He was crushed and killed.
