Employee's Leg Is Fractured in Fall from Ladder

On September 9, 2009, Employee #1 was removing an existing window from a residence as a part of a window replacement job. He was removing a nail from the window's trim when the nail head broke off. Employee #1 was applying force to the nail. When the nail head broke off, Employee #1 lost his balance and fell off the step ladder. He suffered a compound fracture to his leg and was hospitalized for treatment.
