Employee Suffers Apparent Heart Attack, Later Dies

At approximately 3:26 p.m. on April 11, 2009, Employee #1 and a coworker were working at one of the barn yards, performing general duties. General duties include feeding, watering, and verifying that equipment and operations are in normal working order. They proceeded to another barn, riding a Gator Utility Vehicle, to fill a watering tank or trough and to move livestock back to the area. Once at the barn, Employee #1 went to fill the tank and the coworker went to unlock the gate. The coworker stated he glanced back and noted Employee #1 grab his chest. The coworker ran to Employee #1 and began to administer CPR. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital, where he died at 4:16 p.m. from causes not specified in the narrative.
