Employee gets an amputated leg after being struck by vehic

At approximately 7:15 am, on May 27 2010, Employee #1 of S A Recycling LLC sustained an amputated right leg. Employee #1 was in the process of visually inspecting the shredding line in the yard when he was struck from behind by a semi truck. The semi truck had been backing into the metal dumping area to unload its trailer and struck Employee #1. Employee #1 was transported to Kern medical Center in Bakersfield, CA.
