Employee Fractures Leg in Fall from Ladder

On June 5, 2009, an employee was working on a fairly level roof surface from a four foot step ladder. The employee subsequently fell, severely breaking his leg. The fall height was estimated to be about two feet. The ladder was in good condition without defects. The employee was hospitalized for surgery.
