Employee Is Killed in Bomb Explosion

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on December 12, 2008, Employee #1 and a coworker, both law enforcement officers, were investigating a potential explosive device. The device detonated, killing both of them and critically injuring a third law enforcement officer who was in the immediate vicinity of the blast. Employee #1 was the only recorded victim.
