Employee's Finger Is Amputated by Being Caught in Pin Leash

On August 11, 2010, Employee #1, a manager, and Employee #2, a worker of Brady Company Incorporated, were exiting the scissor lift platform to a cabinet. Employee #1's right middle finger got caught on a pin leash (on the guard rail) and was amputated just past the first knuckle. Employee #1 was transported by paramedics to Palomar Hospital for treatment and surgery.
