Worker Suffers Possible Heat Exhaustion Delivering Materials

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on August 31, 2009, Employee #1, an inventory control/delivery specialist of Calexico Unified School District was delivering material to various schools in the district. He complained of chest pain and fatigue and was taken to the El Centro Regional Medical Center where he was observed for four hours and released. The incident report states possible heat exhaustion, no further information was provided.
