Employee Is Injured in Fall from Ladder

On November 12, 2009, Employee #1 was standing on a six-foot, A-frame, fiberglass ladder to grout an interior wall of a commercial building. Employee #1 applied the grout too hard, lost his balance, and fell four feet to six feet from the ladder. Employee #1 was hospitalized at USC Medical Center for four days, because of an unspecified injury sustained in the accident. Approximately four other coworkers were onsite at the time of the accident, but no one admitted that they saw the accident directly.
