Candy Store Worker Trips over Box and Injures Knee

On Friday, October 9, 2009, Employee #1, a Store Manager of See's Candy, had just finished stocking candy bars on a counter top in the sales area and was returning to the back storage room. She ran into and fell over an open candy drawer. Employee #1 was carrying the remaining candy bars in a larger box, which blocked her view of the drawer that had been opened by a coworker. Employee #1 sustained a fractured right knee and left shoulder. Employee underwent surgery to the knee and was hospitalized.
