Employee Is Ejected from Bucket of Lift Truck

On August 14, 2008, Employee #1 was performing tree trimming activities for public utilities. He was working from the bucket of lift truck, 20 ft high, without fall protection. He asked a coworker to move the truck while he was suspended in the bucket. When the truck was moved, the employee was catapulted out of the bucket onto the ground. Employee #1 was hospitalized, his injuries were not specified.
