Employee Struck by Falling Trailer Tongue

At approximately 8:45 a.m. on June 19, 2010, Employee #1, a welder's helper, was injured when a trailer fell while he was working underneath it. Employee #1 was stitch welding small plates under a trailer, held up by a hand jack at the tongue end. The hand jack on the trailer failed and the trailer fell on Employee #1. Employee #1 was taken by ambulance and admitted to Kern Medical Center hospital.
