Investigation Summary
At approximately 7:35 a.m. on July 21, 2009, Employee #1 was supervising inmates who were preparing food in the kitchen area of the dining hall. Employee #1 slipped on a wet tile floor that had small pieces of raw potatoes on it. Her knee was fractured when she struck the floor that did not have any mats, grates or other protection devices to prevent slipping. Employee #1 was hospitalized at Delano Regional Hospital for treatment of her right knee.
