Employee Is Injured While Walking

At approximately 8:09 a.m. on November 4, 2009, Employee #1 was an ironworker. He had stepped off of a barge onto a berm then he walked along the berm. Employee #1 lost balance and fell. He hit his right shoulder and head on the edge of a berm. He was hospitalized for two days for treatment of low blood pressure and an irregular heartbeat. Employee #1 did not know if he tripped on a piece of rebar, or his sleever bar, or if he lost his footing due to his preexisting medical condition.
