Employee Injures Knee in Fall

On February 27, 2006, Employee #1, a carpenter, was removing 10 ft by 5 ft plastic sheets by attaching clamps sideways to the top and bottom of each sheet and then using his weight to pull on the sheet to loosen and remove it. He was in the process of taking off a sheet, and, for some reason, he lost his balance and fell backward. His right foot bent back toward his head, injuring his right knee. Employee #1 was hospitalized. The injury resulted in a knee replacement.
