Investigation Summary
On August 14, 2008, Employee #1, a traffic agent, was on her lunch break. She was crossing an intersection when she was struck by a privately owned vehicle. She was thrown into the path of a yellow school bus and was pinned underneath. The employee was seven months pregnant. Employee #1 died during surgery. However, her son, delivered by cesarean section, survived.
