Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was operating a carousel spot welder, when a part became dislodged from the machine. The employee reached his right arm into the machine, while it was in motion, to correct the position of the part and his right arm and hand became caught in the machine. He suffered contusions on both arms and suffered a fractured right hand. His injuries did not require hospitalization.
